WISH Dementia Forum Appoints Chairperson

Doha, October 21 (QNA) - World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH) has appointed chairperson for the WISH Dementia Forum that will mull current challenges, innovation in care-giving, financial models and regulatory framework. President of The New York Academy Of Sciences Ellis Rubinstein will lead an expert working group tackle dementia globally, Qatar Foundation announced Tuesday. The expert working group on Dementia will submit an evidence-based report for policymakers. It will be presented at the next WISH Summit in Qatar February 17-18, 2015. Rubinstein said, "We must rethink how we can accelerate best practices. I believe that together with my Forum partners, we will find the new evidence and perspectives to make a difference. "Our ultimate goal: to help prevent and improve the quality of treatment for people with dementia. The Forum provides a unique opportunity to make a significant difference." WISH is a global initiative of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development. (QNA)
