WISH to Organize Seminar on Safe Healthcare

Doha, July 13 (QNA) - The World Innovation Summit for Health (WISH), an initiative launched by Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Development (QF), will organize its fourth activity on the safest healthcare, held as part of seminars organized by the Leading Health Systems Network (LHSN) through the internet. The seminar, which will be held on Wednesday under the theme 'Towards the Safest Care: Challenge Facing Health Systems', will focus on the major challenges facing health systems in their endeavour to provide a safe and high quality health care for patients. It will be addressed by Professor Sir William Donaldson, envoy of the World Health Organization (WHO) , in the field of patents' safety. Professor Donaldson explained that the importance of the seminar stems form the change of the patients safety into a priority topping the concerns of all health systems of the world, adding that the healthcare sector was still unable to cope with the annual improvements made by safety records of other sectors which their work nature are highly dangerous.
