Women campaign to improve working conditions

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Anticipating the International Women’s Day, the Committee for Women at the Confederation of Mongolian Trade Unions (CMTU) Tuesday announced their campaign aimed at improved working conditions for women. Highlighting the need for improved laws and relevant documents for women’s employment and social protection, the Committee wants the Government to join related international conventions in order to eliminate discrimination and conflicts in labor relations. The Committee is also planning to cooperate with Women’s Trade Union at the CMTU, Transport and Road Workers’ Trade Union, and Education and Science Workers’ Trade Union to improve working conditions for women.
