Works by Iranian composers to highlight Swiss ensemble repertoire

TEHRAN,Oct.30(MNA) -- The Swiss ensemble Matka will perform music by Iranian composers in a concert at Geneva’s Kulger Art Foundation on November 16. The repertoire of the ensemble includes “There Was a Dot and Nothing Else” by the Geneva-based Iranian composer Karen Keyhani and “Haiku Music” by Ehsan Sabuhi. In addition, “Shahrzad” by Alireza Mashayekhi and “Bad-e Saba” by Alireza Farhang and French composer Blaise Ubaldini’s “À Blanc 1 and 2” will also be performed. Keyhani will accompany the ensemble on the Iranian instrument santur during the performance.
