World is going through historic changes, says President Gul

LONDON (A.A) - Turkish President Abdullah Gul said Wednesday that the world was going through historic changes. Addressing a group of British deputies at the British Parliament in London, President Gul said that the old order in Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East was changing. We are progressing towards undiscovered seas. Turkey and Britain can help this ship progress under control, Gul said. It is too early to predict what would happen in countries affected by the 'Arab Spring'. What is clear is that an irreversible process of democratization began in the region, Gul stressed. Touching on Turkish-British relations, President Gul said that the two countries had excellent relations. The excellent cooperation between Turkey and Britain involved larger geographies, Gul also said.
