Yarat! welcomes support to contemporary art of Azerbaijan

Baku, February 5 (AzerTAc). Space of Contemporary Art Yarat! has adopted a resolution in support of the desires of the leading government agencies and commercial organizations of Azerbaijan to contribute to the further development of contemporary art in Azerbaijan. Yarat! announces that it welcomes the desire of sponsors, who have made a significant contribution in 2012 to the development of modern art in Azerbaijan, and willing in 2013 to participate in various programs of the organization. Friends of Yarat! - the leading government agencies and commercial organizations in Azerbaijan such as the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, Icheri Sheher administration, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Committee on Family, Women and Children, Azercell Telecom, Bakcell Telecom, Bank Respublika, Pasha Holding, Silk Way Travel, Rapid Solutions, Italidesign - appreciate the efforts of Yarat! in search, support and worthy representation of young Azerbaijani talents in various fields of contemporary art, and provide financial support to these efforts. In 2012, Yarat! successfully organized and conducted in Azerbaijan and abroad more than 18 exhibitions, festivals, workshops, master classes and other educational activities in different areas of modern art. In them, both Azerbaijani and foreign participants demonstrated their work from feature films to short films. The past events have brought huge benefits to the self-expression and recognition of achievements of young Azerbaijani talents such as Ramal Kazimov, Vusal Rahim, Sitara Ibrahimova, Rashad Alakbarov, Rashad Babayev, Niyaz Najafov, Mahdi Mammadov, Nazrin Mammadova, Ali Hasanov, Orkhan Huseynov and many others. In the annual final speech, founder and director of Yarat! Aida Mahmudova noted that the process of planning a successful event requires a lot of professional, emotional, physical and material efforts and commitment of many volunteers in our community, including sponsors and benefactors. "At the same time, the promotion of art, modern art in particular is a noble cause of every conscientious citizen of any society. And the leaders of medium and large commercial and non-profit organizations differ from ordinary citizens with a higher degree of responsibility before the society.
