Youth, Sports Ministry organised

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa issued Decree 70/2015 stipulating the organisation of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Firstly: The ministry has been organized under the Minister of Youth and Sports, while the Communications Directorate has been affiliated to the minister. The Undersecretary: 1- Assistant Undersecretary for Youth Development affiliated to who are: a-Directorate of Youth Activities, b- Directorate of Youth Inventions, and c- Directorate of Youth Support and Guidance. 2- Assistant Undersecretary for Youth Centres and Bodies affiliated to whom are: a- Directorate of Youth Centres, b- Directorate of Specialized Centres, and c- Directorate of Youth Bodies. 3- Assistant Undersecretary for Youth and Facilities Affairs affiliated to whom are: a- Clubs Affairs Directorate, b- Sports Services Directorate and c- Facilities and Projects Directorate. 4- Assistant Undersecretary for Planning and Promotion affiliated to whom are: a- Human Resources and Finance Directorate, b- Marketing and Promotion Directorate, and c- Planning Directorate. Secondly: Decree 3/2011 has been cancelled, regarding the reorganization of the General Organisation for Youth and Sports (GOYS), as well as any provision that contradicts the provisions of this decree. Thirdly: The Minister of Youth and Sports has been tasked to implement this decree which becomes effective from the date of its issuance and be published in the Official Gazette.
