Yudhoyono To Open Bali Democracy Forum

Nusa Dua, Nov 8 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono is scheduled to open the Bali Democracy Forum (BDF)at the Bali International Convention Centre, here on Thursday morning. Yudhoyono and South Korean President Lee Myung Bak will chair the annual conference discussing developments of democracy in various parts of the world. At least 11 heads of state or governments are expected to take part in the conference. They include Thai, East Timor, Turkey, Papua New Guinea, Nepal, Australia prime minister, Afghan, and Indonesian, South Korean presidents, Sultan of Brunei and Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore. Yudhoyono is also scheduled to have separate meetings with a number of other heads of state or government attending the 5th BDF conference. The president and the First Lady Ani Yudhoyono, and a number of cabinet ministers arrived in Bali on Wednesday.
