Zarif: West mimics Israel's anti-Iran claims

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA – Western countries are parroting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu allegations against Iran, Iranian Foreign Minister said in a message 'First, Netanyahu stands next to nuclear BOMB factory and threatens Iran with annihilation. Now, he openly boasts about his 'OFFENSIVE' missiles that can reach anywhere. And he still whines about Iran's Deterrent and DEFENSIVE missiles, and the West parrots his 'concerns',' Mohammad Javad Zarif tweeted on Tuesday. To a question on Israeli PM's baseless allegations that Iran had a secret atomic archive and a secret atomic warehouse, Zarif earlier said, 'Well, he's been making allegations about Iran since 1992.' 'In 1992, according to him, we were supposed to have finished making a bomb in about five years, in 1996 still five years,' he added. 'So he's been on the record even testifying before Congress that Iran is just about to make a nuclear weapon,' Iranian FM noted. Zarif went on to say that 'if he's concerned about Iran's nuclear program, the best way to make sure, is the deal that he has done his best to undermine because JCPOA, the nuclear deal, allows the IAEA the most intrusive inspections that are available in the world and Iran accepted those intrusive inspections because we did not have anything to hide.'
