Zebari briefs British officials on talks of forming the new government

BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari briefed Britain's delegation on the talks of forming a new government in the light of the ongoing dialogues about the program of the next government. The Foreign Ministry said in a press statement: "Zebari met with the British Development Secretary, Justine Grieng and Minister of State for Middle East Affairs Tobias Ellwood and British Ambassador in Baghdad Simon Collis, marking the end of the functions of Ambassador Collis." The statement added: "Zebari, during the meeting, which was attended by a number of ambassadors of foreign countries accredited in Baghdad, reviewed ways to take advantage of the growing international support for Iraq in its response to terror, and to support the humanitarian efforts to displaced persons and bring them back to their homes safely."
