Zebari Meets With Algerian Prime Minster

BAGHDAD / NINA / Iraqi Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari discussed with the Algerian First Minister / Prime Minister /, Abdul Malik Sallal Iraqi - Algerian relations and ways of activating them and overcome the existing obstacles, particularly the file of Algerian detainees in Iraq . The two sides stressed, during the meeting, according to a Foreign Ministry statement, that the views and positions of the two countries in a number of international and regional issues are convergent, reaffirming the need to sustain coordination, consultation and exchange of visits between the officials in both countries. In another aspect of the meeting, the two sides discussed and reviewed the work of the Ministerial Conference of the Seventeenth Non-Aligned Movement held in Algeria. The Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zebari arrived in Algeria yesterday to participate in the work of the Ministerial Conference of the Seventeenth Non-Aligned Movement, which kicked off yesterday and will be concluded today. / End
