Kyrgyz delegation takes part in 13th Kashgar exhibition-fair in China

Bishkek, June 26, 2023. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz delegation took part in the 13th Kashgar Exhibition-Fair with the countries of Central South Asia, which was held in the city of Kashgar, XUAR, China from June 21 to 25, 2023, the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

On the first day of the exhibition, a gala concert "Kashgar Fair" was held with the participation of well-known creative teams from Xinjiang.

The second day of the exhibition was marked by the opening ceremony of the "13th Xinjiang-Kashgar Central Asia and South Asia Trade Exhibition" at the Kashgar International Exhibition Center. The Kyrgyz delegation visited the Kashgar International Exhibition Center, took part in the forum “Internal and external relations, bilateral openness, friendly construction of a foothold of Southern Xinjiang in the Kashgar Silk Road Economic Zone”.

According to the ministry, Deputy Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic Chyngyz Esengul uulu, as an honored guest, took part in the cultural tourism development forum "Silk Road Economic Belt - Kashgar", after which he met with the leadership of the Kashgar administration headed by chairman People's Government of Xinjiang, Governor of Xinjiang Erkin Tuniyaz.

On the final day, the delegation visited the Kashgar International Exhibition Center to take part in the Kashgar Cultural and Tourism Food Festival.
