Largest industrial and logistics park to be launched in south of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 31, 2023. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov, as part of his working trip to Osh region, visited the industrial and logistics park "EuroAsia GROUP" under construction in the Kara-Suu region.

The head of state was informed that the area of the facility is 5 hectares. The territory was allocated by the state on a competitive basis in order to support domestic investors and develop production in the regions.

According to the project, three production sites will operate on the territory of the facility: a factory for sewing clothes from knitwear, a factory for the production of knitted fabric and a yarn factory. To date, the construction of the industrial and logistics park has been completed by 70%.

In the fourth quarter of this year, it is expected to launch a factory for sewing ready-made clothes with 800 jobs and a production capacity of 2.1 million garments per year. The project is estimated at 2.6 million US dollars. The products of the garment factory will be mainly export-oriented.

The launch of the knitted fabric factory is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024. The enterprise will provide jobs for 300 people and produce up to 20 tons of fabric daily. The amount of investment in the project is 18 million US dollars.

The spinning mill with a production capacity of up to 15 tons of thread per day will start operating from the third quarter of 2025. It will employ about 150 people. Investments in the project amount to 3.5 million US dollars.

Sadyr Zhaparov, having familiarized himself with the progress of the project, stressed that the state will always support conscientious entrepreneurs and continue to create favorable conditions for investors, including domestic ones. Particular attention will be paid to regional production.

Local authorities were instructed to consider the issue of allocating an additional land plot for the production needs of the factory.
