132 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 21, 2020 / Kabar /. 132 new COVID-19 cases were detected in Kyrgyzstan on Monday, the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said. Among the new cases, 45 were confirmed in the capital city of Bishkek, 6 in Osh, 21 in Chui Oblast, 5 in Talas Oblast, 1 in Naryn Oblast, in Issyk-Kul Oblast - 32, in Jalal-Abad Oblast - 16, in Batken Oblast - 6. In total, 79,254 cases of COVID-19 were registered over the past day. In addition, 225 patients have recovered, bringing the total to 73,005 people. The death toll reached 1,331 with one new death reported over the past day. Currently, 1,636 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, while 2,394 are being treated at home. 895 PCR tests were carried out per day.
