16tah meeting of chairmen of SCO Supreme Courts to take plce today

Bishkek, Sept. 24, 2021 . / Kabar / . The 16th meeting of chairmen of Supreme Courts of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states will start its work. The Meeting, which is held in the format of videoconference under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan, will consider following issues: - practice of enforcement of arbitration and arbitration court decisions; - humanization of the criminal legislation of SCO member states. Advantages and disadvantages. - digitalization of courts and application of IT-technologies in the administration of justice; - experience of SCO member states in developing juvenile justice. The practice of establishing courts for disputes involving minors; - mass media and judicial system. The influence of the media on the administration of justice; - judicial practice on cases of corruption and other crimes against the interests of state and municipal service, as well as other issues. The Meeting will result in the adoption of a Joint Statement by Chairmen of the Supreme Courts of SCO member states. A total of 15 Meetings of SCO chairmen of Supreme Courts were held since 2006.
