175 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan reached 79,429 on Tuesday as 175 new cases were registered across the country in the past 24 hours. Ainura Akmatova, the head of the public health care department of the country's Health Ministry, said that 295 patients have recovered over the past day, bringing the total cured and discharged to 73,300. So far, a total of 1,335 people have died of the disease in the country, including four over the past 24 hours. Currently, 1,472 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals, while 2,429 are being treated at home. 2,890 PCR tests were conducted across the country in the past 24 hours.
