86 kilos of hashish discovered in cigarette cartons

TEHRAN,July 5(MNA)– The police chief of Qods City in west Tehran announced the seizure of 86 kilograms of hashish (189.2 lbs) in cartons of cigarette by police force on Thursday. In the fight against illegal drugs and promoting public safety police forces have identified areas prone to high drug trafficking and crime and are now weeding drug dealers and criminals out, Colonel Hojatollah Karami said. During one of these police operations on Thursday a gang of three-member drug dealers were arrested along with cigarette cartons containing hashish at their location, the colonel added.
