Almost 250 media and online publications accredited to cover parliamentary elections

The Central Elections Commission of Kyrgyzstan has accredited 244 mass media and internet publications to participate in the election campaign for the parliamentary elections of the Kyrgyz Republic. The press service of the CEC reported that of these: - 152 are mass media; - 92 - Internet publications. Parliamentary elections in Kyrgyzstan will be held on Nov. 28, 2021. In accordance with the amendments made to the constitutional Law "On elections of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh of the Kyrgyz Republic", it is envisaged to conduct parliamentary elections by a mixed electoral system. 3,686,921 voters are registered in the preliminary voter list for the parliamentary elections.
