Ambassador Junusov visits ethnic Kyrgyz in Jizzakh Region of Uzbekistan

On Oct. 9-10 Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibrahim Junusov visited Jizzak Region of Uzbekistan to participate in the Meeting of Three Generations, as well as to familiarize with the work being done to strengthen interethnic harmony, the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan said. Junusov got acquainted with the conditions created for the inhabitants of the rural gathering of citizens Duoba in Zaamin district, a well-equipped secondary school with the Kyrgyz language of instruction, as well as the activities of the rural health clinic and a sewing workshop. He congratulated and handed marriage certificates to two newlywed couples (ethnic Kyrgyz). 85% of the residents of the Duoba village gathering are ethnic Kyrgyz. Further, the Kyrgyz ambassador participated in a Meeting of Three Generations in the village of Peshagor in Zaamin district of Jizzakh Region, where he delivered a speech noting the work being done to strengthen friendship and harmony between the different nationalities living in Uzbekistan.
