Arabic Products And Folklore Exhibition Wednesday

KUALA LUMPUR, May 13 (Bernama) -- A one-day exhibition organised by wives of 11 Arab country ambassadors to Malaysia is being held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel Wednesday. Prime Minister's wife Rosmah Mansor said the event would strengthen relations between the Arab countries and Malaysia. "The exhibition offers a preview to intending visitors to these countries, of the traditional food, lifestyle and culture of the Arab communities," she said. She said this to reporters after gracing a Charity Bazaar and Exhibition of Arabic Products and Folklore 2015 here Wednesday. The 11 countries involved are Palestine, Lebanon, Oman, Morocco, Egypt, Kuwait, Libya, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Qatar and Sudan. Meanwhile, the organisers also presented a US$2,775 (RM10,000) cheque to Rosmah for Yayasan Permata Malaysia, of which she is the patron. The exhibition will end at 8 pm. -- BERNAMA
