Asia Summer Programme Best Platform To Enhance Ties Among Students

ARAU (Perlis, Malaysia), Aug 6 (Bernama) -- The Asia Summer Programme (ASP) is the best platform to enhance ties among students as it cut across race, creed and religion. The Raja Muda (Crown Prince) of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalullail said as future leaders, the students should have respect, understanding and cooperation. "The opportunity to learn about other countries and cultures should open their minds to build ties and understanding," he said when launching ASP 2014 at Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) campus, here Wednesday. The ASP programmes were designed to enhance character and inculcate the intellectual maturity of students and develop new international networks.
