Birth rate decreases in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 10, 2018 / Kabar /. A decrease in the birth rate is observed in Kyrgyzstan, consultant of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Elena Bayalinova told Kabar Agency. According to her data, as of January 1, 2018, the average annual population in Kyrgyzstan was 6,193,400 people. The share of children (0-14 years) is 31.8%, of working-age persons - 59.3% and persons older than working age (7.1%). "There is an insignificant decrease in the birth rate. Everyone has the right to decide when and how much to have children," Bayalinova commented.
