Bishkek, Sept. 7, 2021. / Kabar /. A meeting with a business delegation from India was held at the Ministry of Investment of Kyrgyzstan on September 6. According to the ministry, the Indian delegation was headed by President of the Indian Economic Trade Organization, Dr. Asif Iqbal. The delegation included the heads of large companies (Satya Oil Mills, NV Beverages India, Timmy Exports and Imports). During the meeting, Deputy Minister of Investments Bayasov made a presentation on the investment opportunities of Kyrgyzstan to the Indian side, informed about the activities of free economic zones of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the prospects for doing business in the country with more than 500 million people entering the market. Representatives of the Indian business delegation expressed interest in the construction of hospitality facilities, as well as enterprises for processing agricultural products. At the same time, the head of the Indian delegation, Dr. Asif Iqbal, noted that the Indian side is interested in opening a representative office of the Ministry of Investment of the Kyrgyz Republic in India and a representative office of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic in India. Following the meeting, the deputy minister of investment thanked the business delegation from India for their interest in joint cooperation and expressed readiness to support the above initiatives.
