BRICS civilian forum ends in Moscow

MOSCOW, July 1 /TASS/. The first BRICS civilian forum has ended in Moscow with working out an 8-page text of recommendations for civil society, the forum’s co-chairperson Viktoria Panova said. Yelena Toployova-Soldunova, a co-chairperson of the BRICS civilian forum and a member of the Russian president’s Council for Civil Society and Human Rights and the Russian Public Chamber, told TASS that one of the recommendations contained the recognition of the pernicious role of inequality for economic and social development and sustainable agriculture as a means to guarantee food security.
