BUS STOPS TO BE EQUIPPED WITH INTERNET

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Implementing a cooperation agreement of relevant authorities, many standardized bus stops have been erected in Ulaanbaatar. Consulted by JCDecaux Group of France, the contractors have began replacing old bus stops with new ones made of stainless steel and equipped with information board, double Say-ray, water-resistant roof, and energy-saving led lighting. Addition to the bus stops, the contractors are planning to build up proper surrounding facilities including street signs and parking areas for taxi and bikes. The bus stops will also feature audio equipment for the disabled and wi-fi Internet connection for commuters waiting for the public transport. Within 2014, a total of 69 bus stops will appear, with the first shift of 31 before the Naadam Festival (July 11).
