COVID-19 battle: USAID provides National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan with PPE

Bishkek, Nov. 27, 2020. /Kabar/. The USAID Local Health Systems Sustainability (LHSS) Project donated humanitarian assistance in the form of personal protective equipment to the National Hospital under the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan. This assistance consists of 3000 disposable medical masks, 1000 FFP3 respirators, 600 disposable surgical gowns, 600 EN14605 overalls, 420 protective glasses, 800 kits of gloves, 700 antiseptics. Chief physician of the National Hospital of Kyrgyzstan Toktobai Maanayev expressed great gratitude to the project for the assistance rendered to the health sector in the fight against COVID-19. Kyrgyzstan has reported 71,548 coronavirus cases so far, including 62,946 recoveries. The COVID-19 death toll stands at 1,256.
