Doing Business in Kyrgyzstan forum held in India’s Mumbai

Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2021 . / Kabar / . Business and financial capital of India Mumbai hosted on Oct. 1 the Doing Business in Kyrgyzstan forum, organized by the Kyrgyz Embassy together with the World Trade Centre of Mumbai, the All India Association of Industries and the Indian Chamber of International Business. The event was attended by Kyrgyz Ambassador to India Aseyin Isayev, President of the World Trade Centre Mumbai Vijay Kalantri, the management of the All India Association of Industries and the Indian Chamber of International Business, as well as representatives of leading companies in various sectors of Mumbai and Maharashtra state (the total number of participants was more than 60 people). In his speech, Isayev elaborated on business opportunities for foreign businessmen and emphasized the measures taken by the country's leadership to create favorable working conditions. In addition, presentation were made on investment and tourism opportunities of the Kyrgyz Republic. The participants of the business forum expressed great interest in development of trade and economic cooperation with Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, a separate question and answer session was organized, as well as a number of meetings with representatives of the business community of Mumbai. Chairman of the World Trade Centre of Mumbai Vijay Kalantri noted that the main purpose of the event is to strengthen the Kyrgyz-Indian bilateral cooperation in various fields. President of the Indian Association of International Business Manpreet Singh stressed that the opportunities for cooperation with Kyrgyzstan aroused great interest among the business circles of Mumbai. As a result of the event and talks, an agreement was reached to organize a visit of a business delegation from Mumbai to the Kyrgyz Republic in November 2021 to establish cooperation in such areas as textile industry, mining, alternative energy, export/import of precious stones and gold, etc.
