Drivers in Turkey to be tested for drugs

Azerbaijan, Baku, August 21 / Trend, A. Taghiyeva Turkey's traffic police will be checking drivers in the country for drug use, along with alcohol level tests, CNN Turk reported. According to the channel, for this purpose, Turkey imported electronic devices from Germany, which determine the the degree of intoxicated drivers, and also the type of used drugs. If the drug intoxication of a driver is determined, then he/she will be deprived of driving for five years, and ordered to pay fine in the amount of 3,600 Turkish liras. Reportedly, the police will start checking the drivers on August 21.
