Family Confident Nor Azimah Still Alive Despite Being Missing For Two Months

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 24 (Bernama) -- It has been over two months since she was reported missing in Madinah, but the family of single mother, Nor Azimah Ibrahim, is confident that she is very much alive. Her father, Ibrahim Abdul Rahman, 54, said it was the regular and consistent updates they received from the Malaysian Embassy's representative in Saudi Arabia that made the whole family believed that she was still alive. He said the representative, who communicates regularly with the Saudi police, would contact him once every fortnight to inform him about the latest development concerning the search for his daughter. "I never stop praying for her and I hope that she will be found safe and that she will return to her family in Malaysia," he told Bernama when contacted here Tuesday. However, Ibrahim admitted that the search had yet to see any positive development. Nor Azimah, 31, from Shah Alam, Selangor, left for the Holy Land to perform umrah with her parents on Dec 11 last year and was reported missing on Dec 19 while being on her own in the Nabawi Mosque in Madinah. -- BERNAMA
