Famous Azerbaijani writer Kamal Abdulla appears in TV program of Italian Rai-3

Milan, April 24, AZERTAC Famous Azerbaijani writer Kamal Abdulla has been a guest of Italian Rai-3’s TV program dedicated to the World Book and Copyright Day in Milan. He appeared at “Io Leggo Perche” program as his “The unfinished manuscript” was selected by the Italian Publishers Association as one of the best-selling and highest rated books. In the program, Kamal Abdulla shared his views about the benefits of reading books: “I like to read because while reading people get to know each other better and become attuned to the nature and characters of other nations. Tolerance gains an advantage and people’s hearts fill with feelings of compassion and mercy. As I page through the book the countries’ borders open right before my eyes and the power of word becomes absolute, the pen turns mightier than the sword. Swords get silent when the power of word emerges victorious. Unfortunately, when words get silent, swords start to talk. As you reach the end of the pages the book finishes and I continue to revive them in my dreams and fantasies. I love to read, because I love…” “Lo Leggo Perche” project is a community for book-lovers that promotes various books in Italy.
