"Very well," the diplomat said, answering the mayor’s question about Castro’s health. Fidel Castro’s son, scientific advisor of the State Council of Cuba Fidel Castro Diaz-Balart added that his father closely follows the situation in the country and the actions of the current leadership of the republic. "He is following what we are doing in the country," Castro Diaz-Balart said. At a meeting with the Novosibirsk mayor, the Cuban delegation made several proposals on strengthening relations between the two countries. In particular, the sides will consider making a sister-city agreement between Novosibirsk and Havana, along with organizing festivals aimed at promoting cultural ties.
