First Hindi-Kyrgyz dictionary presented in Bishkek

Bishkek, Oct. 11, 2021 . / Kabar / . The first Hindi-Kyrgyz dictionary was presented in Bishkek on Monday during an official visit of Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev noted that the dictionary includes more than 1,000 similar words. "In addition, the Kyrgyz and Indian sides reached an agreement on the preservation of cultural heritage, as well as the protection of historical and cultural monuments, protected sites, manuscripts, etc. through joint archaeological excavations," he said. The dictionary was created by the National Commission on State Language under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with the Indian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan. The Ala-Archa state residence hosted on Monday a meeting of Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and India Subrahmanyam Jaishankar, who arrived in Kyrgyzstan for an official visit. In the course of the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral interaction and cooperation.
