Fourth forum "Mekendeshter-2018" kicks off in Cholpon-Ata

Cholpon-Ata, Aug. 8, 2018. / Kabar /. The 4th Forum "Mekendeshter-2018" has started on Tuesday in Cholpon-Ata under the motto "The Destiny of the Motherland is My Destiny". The official opening of the forum took place today, where President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and former President Roza Otunbayeva take part. The forum is held in the Rukh Ordo cultural center named after Chyngyz Aitmatov from 7 to 9 August. On the first day, a cultural program was shown in. The participants became spectators of the play "Zhamilyla" based on the story of Chyngyz Aitmatov, as well as the demonstration of the national female headdress. A number of plenary sessions with the participation of the deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh, vice prime ministers and ministers, experts, as well as representatives of the business community of Kyrgyzstanis abroad are planned for today. The Mekendeshter Forum is a modern platform for a constructive dialogue of compatriots, associations, diasporas of Kyrgyz citizens living abroad.
