Inflation rate in consumer sector in Kyrgyzstan made 6.5% since beginning of year

The inflation rate in the consumer sector for 9 months of 2021 compared to the same period last year made 6.5%, head of the price statistics department of the National Statistical Committee Nurbayeva told at a briefing. According to her data, in 2020 this figure was 3.9%. “For 9 months of 2021, prices for alcoholic products increased significantly by 9.8%, tobacco products - 15.3%, for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 7.4%, prices for non-food products increased by 6.4%, services rendered to the population increased by 2.4%,” she said.
