Innovation center opened in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Oct. 27, 2021 / Kabar /. The State Innovation Center has been opened in Bishkek on Wednesday. The event was attended by government officials and guests from abroad. The participants noted that this is an important step in the development of the country and innovative potential. This is the first such facility in the country. Within its walls, various projects have been implemented that will help everyone to realize all their ideas. In addition, during the event, the presentation of WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) and EAPO (Eurasian Patent Organization) gold medals took place. At the moment, there are several sectors in the center, including programming, sewing, 3-D printing and others. In addition, there are general and individual places to discuss potential projects. The center is equipped with the latest modern equipment. The employees of the center noted that anyone can work there, it is only necessary to register in advance on the portal, which will start functioning in the near future. The innovation center was created at the State Patent and Technical Library under the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation. For this, the paper fund of the library was digitized, users were given online access to the literary fund. At the moment, there is a Fablab in the center - a production laboratory for prototyping and testing ideas, Youth ilab - a children's laboratory, a coworking area, a conference room, a meeting room and a patent and technical fund.
