International seminar on trade facilitation held in Issyk-Kul

Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Secretariat of the Trade Facilitation Council under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan organized on Sept. 16-17 an international workshop on trade facilitation on the shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. The workshop was organized in cooperation with the Center of Competence for Trade Facilitation at the Kyrgyz Economic University (KEU) named after Ryskulbekov and with the support of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE). The seminar was attended by representatives of UNECE Alla Shlykova, Anton Kozhankov, Deputy Chairman of UN/CEFACT Aleksei Bondarenko, as well as representatives of relevant stat bodies and businesses of the republic. Participants of the workshop reviewed the Trade Facilitation Competence Center work plan for 2021-2025 in order to build the capacity of government officials, the business community involved in trade, as well as teaching students and graduate students the basics of trade facilitation.
