International tourism forum in Sochi to discuss prospects for domestic and inbound tourism

SOCHI, November 26. /TASS/. An international tourist forum begins in the Russian Black Sea resort city of Sochi on Thursday. Participants will sum up the result of the outgoing tourist year and discuss prospects for domestic and inbound tourism. "Russian travel sector is now undergoing a new birth but in new economic conditions. The international forum in Sochi is called to demonstrate the entire world that Russia’s travel sector has a lot to offer foreign guests," the forum’s organizers said. The key event of the forum will be the 22nd international tourist exhibition Resorts and Tourism. Season 2015-2016. Traditionally, hotels, resorts and travel operator use this venue to announce prices for packages and accommodations for a coming season. More than 200 leading travel sector companies from various Russian regions will take part in the forum. A conference due on November 27 will be dedicated to the preparations for the FIFA World Cup in 2018. Read more
