Iran to provide free literacy to foreign national refugees

Tehran, IRNA – Chairman of the Literacy Movement Organization Alireza Abdi said on Wednesday educating foreign refugees is on the agenda of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Pointing out that the refugees and foreign nationals need education, Abdi said that adult foreign refugees enjoy free education like the Iranians inside the country. Referring to principled education, he highlighted that the refugees who have identity documents like passports and educational support papers can register in the Literacy Movement Organization, adding that those who do not have any of these documents can also register temporarily with the legal traffic paper for refugees. He expressed the Organization’s readiness to provide educational requirements, physical space, and manpower based on its legal duties in order to provide training to foreign refugees in an appropriate way.
