Iran provides Afghans, Iranians with similar opportunity: Envoy

Tehran, IRNA – The Islamic Republic of Iran has been providing a great number of Afghan refugees with a similar situation that the Iranian citizens are living in, an Iranian envoy said. Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva Ali Bahraini wrote on his Twitter account over his speech in the 73rd session of the Executive Committee of the High Commissioner for Refugees' Programme. The Islamic Republic of Iran has spared no efforts in hospitalizing and protecting millions of Afghan refugees and groups, he wrote. Bahraini also went on to say that Iran has provided a great number of asylum-seekers with the opportunity and condition, which has been offered for the Iranian people.
