Katara Culture Village Launches Its E-Website

Doha, April 20 (QNA) -The Public Institution of cultural village "Katara" on Sunday launched an e- website about "Katara Cultural Forum, as a new step aiming at monitoring the local , arab and world culture drive and shedding light on the most prominent activities in Katara. Commenting on the launch, Dr Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaiti, the general manager of Katara, said: " the launching of the new website copes with the development of the e-media and the increasing attention it gets on part of a large spectra of the qatari society and the gulf and arab communities as well. 'Looking at how we can further evolve our offering is something that we are always keen on at Katara. We are committed to providing a platform for world-renowned arts and culture events, and a fundamental part of this is ensuring that all our communication platforms reveal that. In this way, we convey our brands attributes while constantly enhancing our solid, leading position across Qatar and the Arab region", said Al Sulaiti. "The new website will include key information about Kataras offerings, all of which reflect the role Katara plays as a cultural hub in Qatar and the Arab region," he noted. The new look represents the stability and strength on which Katara has been built on, yet also encompasses the innovation that is fast becoming a trademark of Katara, following the many successful cultural initiatives it brought to the region. It is also aimed at increasing and enhancing communication with the public as well as providing easier navigation for online users. Katara, the Cultural Village, had earlier launched a new website and image last Monday to coincide with the Qatar National Day celebrations. (QNA)
