KSrelief Inaugurates Ramadan Food Baskets Project in Kosovo

Pristina, Mar. 29, 2022, SPA -- Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has inaugurated here a project to distribute Ramadan food baskets, as part of the Ramadan Eta’am Initiative for the year 2022. The inauguration ceremony which took place Sunday, was attended by the Mufti of Kosovo Naim Tërnava, the Director of Social Affairs in Pristina, the Head of the Islamic Affairs and Aid Department at the Kingdomof Saudi Arabia's Embassy in Albania Hamad Al-Sayari, and a team from the KSrelief. The project aims to distribute 2,056 food baskets, each weighing 59 kilograms, including basic commodities, benefiting 10,280 families of 51,400 individuals, in Pristina, Prizren, Peja, Gjilan, Mitrovica, Ferizaj, Skenderaj, Lipjan, and Fushë Kosova. The Ramadan Eta’am Initiative targets 19 countries, under which 156,993 food baskets weighing 8,430 tons, will be distributed for the benefit of 901,463 individuals, as part of the Kingdom’s relief and humanitarian efforts targeting the needy and affected countries. --SPA
