KSrelief's Masam Project Dismantles 1353 Mines within a Week in Yemen

Riyadh, April 05, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the last week of March 2022, 1,353 mines planted by the Houthi militia in various regions of Yemen, including 11 anti-personnel mines, 552 anti-tank mines, 784 unexploded ordnance and 6 explosive devices. Since the beginning of the project, as many as 329,537 mines have been dismantled. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by KSrelief, seeks through the project to clear Yemeni lands of the mines that were randomly planted by the Houthi militia causing death and injury to innocent children, women, and the elderly. --SPA
