Kyrgyz film included in competition program of Moscow Film Festival

Bishkek, Dec. 13, 2021 . / Kabar / . Akyrky Koch (The Road to Eden) film is included in the competition program of the Moscow Premiere 3rd International Festival of Films of the Commonwealth to be held on Dec. 17-21 in Moscow. Co-director of the film Dastan Zhapar uulu said that they are very grateful to organizers and the selection committee for choosing the film, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Culture said. "It is a great honor for us to represent our country at the film festival where the best films of the CIS countries are shown," he said. This year's competition programs of feature and short films includes works from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Estonia. Many of these films had their world premieres at major film festivals. The Road to Eden is a co-production of the Kyrgyzfilm National Film Studio named after Tolomush Okeyev and the Bilimkana Public Foundation.
