Kyrgyzstan adds 249 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Thursday 249 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 173,186. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that 498 more patients recovered over the past day, raising the total recoveries in the country to 164,842. The headquarters also reported 6 new deaths, bringing the death toll to 2,468. Currently, 1,744 patients are receiving treatment in hospitals throughout the country and 2,714 patients - at home. Kyrgyzstan has started COVID-19 vaccine jabs on March 29. 21,091 people received the COVID-19 vaccine in Kyrgyzstan over the past day. In total, 614,367 doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered.
