Kyrgyzstan adds 264 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Dec. 18, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan added on Friday 264 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 78,679. Among the new cases, 76 were confirmed in the capital city of Bishkek, 67 in Chui Oblast, 44 in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 20 in Jalal-Abad Oblast, 4 in Batken Oblast, 14 in Osh Oblast, 4 in Talas Oblast, 21 in Osh city and 14 in Naryn Oblast, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19. The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased to 72,051 after 395 more were added, while the death toll reached 1,324 with 3 deaths reported over the past day. Meanwhile, 1,773 patients are being treated in hospitals, and 2,649patients are receiving treatment at home.
