Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan held another round of negotiations on border

Bishkek, Aug. 8, 2018 / Kabar /. Work groups of governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan held negotiations Ion Aug. 1-7 in the Uzbek city of Fergana on delimitation and demarcation of the state border, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan reported. During the meeting, the sides reviewed the results of field surveys and continued delineation of the remaining sections of the state border. As a result of the talks, a protocol was signed in which the sides scheduled dates for field surveys of the remaining sections of the Uzbek-Kyrgyz state border within the Ferghana and Namangan regions of Uzbekistan and Batken and Jalal-Abad oblasts of Kyrgyzstan. The total length of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border is 1378 km, of which 1170.53 km are determined.
