Kyrgyzstan plans to introduce online insurance

Bishkek, Sept. 20, 2021 . / Kabar / . The Ministry of Economy and Finance of Kyrgyzstan submits for public discussion the draft law "On Amendments to the Civil Code of the Kyrgyz Republic". The draft law is designed to make insurance services accessible and convenient for the population, the introduction of the possibility of entering into an insurance contract not only in writing but also in electronic form. Online insurance will ensure the geographical accessibility of insurance services for the population and businesses. Insurance procedures will be greatly simplified, which will greatly accelerate all business processes. Concluding insurance contracts electronically will play an important role in the process of forming a database of policyholders and the subsequent integration of Kyrgyzstan into the Eurasian Economic Union, where digital transformation is one of the priority areas, given that without digitalization it becomes impossible to develop many areas of government and business even at the household level.
