Kyrgyzstan reports 264 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Thursday 264 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections to 78,415. Among the new cases, 86 were confirmed in the capital city of Bishkek, according to data of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19. The number of recoveries from the coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan increased to 71,656 after 386 more were added, while the death toll reached 1,321 with four deaths reported over the past day. Meanwhile, there are 4,558 active cases in the country, 1,815 of them are being treated in hospitals, and 2,743 patients are receiving treatment at home. The country has conducted 29,24 tests in the past 24 hours.
