Kyrgyzstan reports 269 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2021. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported on Wednesday 269 new COVID-19 cases, raising the tally of infections in the country to 172,937. The Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19 said that the total number of people having recovered from the virus reached 164,344 after 534 new recoveries were recorded over the past day. Meanwhile, 5 new virus related deaths were reported, taking the nationwide count to 2,462. According to the headquarters, 1,823 people are currently hospitalized across the country and 2,894 patients are receiving treatment at home.
