Kyrgyzstan, Russia to host Days of Culture as part of joint Cross Year

Bishkek, Aug. 12, 2021 . / Kabar / . Days of Culture of Russia will be held in Kyrgyzstan on Aug. 12-14 as part of the Cross Year of Kyrgyzstan and Russia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture said. The program includes a set of cultural and spiritual activities aimed at demonstrating the spiritual culture of the peoples of Russia. Thus, the Kyrgyz National Philharmonic named after Toktogul Satylganov will host on Aug. 12 a grand opening of the Days of Culture of Russia in Kyrgyzstan, where the concert entitled "Folklore is the soul of Russia" and an exhibition of spiritual arts and crafts will take place. In addition to the exhibition, the Philharmonic Hall will host folk crafts master classes for visitors, led by representatives of the subjects of the Russian Federation. The exhibition "Plots and Images of Nizami: Dialogue of East and West" will be held on Aug. 13, as well as the exhibition of spiritual and cultural heritage of Russia will run until Sept. 1, 2021. A concert of the Clergy Choir of the St. Petersburg Metropolis, which will perform on stage Russian spiritual music, folk songs, chants and songs of the 20th century will take place on this day also. Besides, a conference devoted to the cultural unity of Russia and Kyrgyzstan will be held.
